Seasons change and time goes by,
a child's laughter, a grown man's sigh.
One day holding hands and then you part,
two ships passing, a broken heart.

Lonely days, tears you cry,
wishing again to be by her side.
Love like this can pass you by,
like the wind and coming tide.

Looking into her eyes,
you feel a warmth explode inside.
